xoxo,
WHY oh WHY did I bother to try something new when I already have an awesome eyeliner that I currently use. Worst of all it wasn't even that cheap! UGH! Anyway, I just remembered why I decided to try this one. It was because it looked like a felt pen and I thought..hmm this looks like it was be pretty easy to use. Well the ease wasn't the problem. It really glides on like a felt pen, but it's so light in color and weight that you can barely see it on your eyelids! Such a disappointment from Revlon..bOOooooooOO~ xoxo, Add Comment My hairstylist introduced this to me recently because I had to chop off my hair. I didn't know why but seriously, my hair looked like it got burned from my hair straightener. Mrs. Suh from IF Hair Studio in Fullerton, she said she had never seen my hair look this awful before and trust me, if anyone knows my hair - It's her. I've been going to her for the almost 11 years now!! I guess you can tell how much my hubby and I LOVE her and trust her. Anyway, back to my hair...I literally BURNED my hair...NOT good. I told her that I wasn't using anything on my hair before using the straightening iron and she asked me what type of iron I was using and said that that she had never seen any clients hair look this fried using that brand. She gave me a small bottle of this Moroccan Oil after she put some in my hair, while I was there at the salon. I LOVE the smell of this oil and after using it for a while now, I can't imagine not using this before I put any iron to my hair. Another great thing about this product is a little goes a long way, and I'm talking dime size! WOOHOO! They have the bigger bottle on Amazon for 4% off :). xoxo, It was Podoh's birthday on Sunday. She turned 12 yrs old! This year we decided to get her a birthday cake from a local place - Woof Dog Boutique (One that I've never been to before). All the food items are made with Natural and Organic ingredients. Thank goodness...Podoh's belly didn't have any reaction to the cake - HOORAY! As all you pet owners know the chance you take for giving your little ones a special treat :P. I don't know about the rest of you, but I SUPPORT local mom and pop stores in my neighborhood. Diane Serafino the owner is the sweetest ever. I think I saw that her son was helping her out at the store too! All the items in the store are made in U.S.A.. They have the cutest dog apparel and accessories at the store. This is definitely a neighborhood gem! Please let all your friends and families know. Support this store! xoxo, I am finally getting over my cold! Yee-haw! Even though I was sick and not feeling week, I did make it out last week to a private event at The London in WeHo. This hotel is beAUTtiful! So cool and sophisticated. I am totally bummed that I forgot to take pictures of the LOVELY hotel boutique. They have a nail salon inside this boutique store that carries pretty and sparkling jewelry to high-end hair products. I am definintely going back, I was in a rush to get to the party, so I left without snapping any shots! Boo~ but did have my eye on a bracelet, that I want to go back for. Look forward to my future posts for more pictures :). xoxo, I recently purchased this mascara at Sephora. I went in knowing that I needed to get a smudgeproof mascara and have used Lancome in the past so I went back to it. I don't know how other women can go throughout the day and not have smudges on the lower lids below the eyelash line...Maybe it's jsut me! I have small eyes and I laugh a lot so...I get lash smudge lines, AHH! So far these have been great! I can wear them all day and when I check my eyes when I get home at night, it's still all good!! YAY for LANCOME! The best part of this mascara is that it's pointed on one end to get the corners of your lashes (Great for gals with small eyes like me). It's a steal at $25.00. xoxo, Last weekend, I decided to hit the stores to see if I could start my holiday shopping. My husband, knowing how upset and bothered I can get with traffic in shopping mall parking structures..decided to drop me off. I can't really tell if it's because he loves me that much or because he doesn't want to get that "phone call" from me complaining about how people can't drive at the malls...(while he's trying to watch sports). I'll just go with the first...Needless to say, I just got dropped off at the closest mall to where we live (Glendale Galleria). It was still a disaster! The crowds were huge and it wasn't even like there were any great sales going on..unless you got there before 6am! So, I walked across the street to the Americana at Brand..it was crowded but felt a little better because it's an open and outdoor mall. There were carolers and all the beautiful holiday decoration was up. That's when I ended up at the most incredible store! I felt as if I had just died and arrived in HEAVEN! I have NEVER EVER seen a store like this in Los Angeles. This store actually had decoration that I had brought over from Indiana last Christmas, from the most AMAZING flower store (I'll blog about this place in my next post). So the store at Americana is called ***drum roll....Maison Paradi! Bonjour Paris! It's a few stores down from the restaurant - FRIDA. The owner of Maison Paradi handpicks the most adorable pieces for her store and the prices are really affordable! |
